The Seward Library Foundation is in the process of having all microfilm reels of Seward County newspapers, dating back to 1870, digitized and posted online. This ensures that our local history becomes accessible to all.
A new Sesquicentennial Painting of the Seward County Courthouse by artist Todd Williams was donated to honor the late T. J. Fraser by his family. The painting is currently part of the “Painting the Legacy of Nebraska” project. It will tour the state and will eventually be housed at the Seward Memorial Library to honor T.J. Fraser and commemorate the Sesquicentennial.
